RATIONALE:

The Plurilingualism Promotion Plan (“A Language Policy for Andalusian Society”) passed by the Andalusian Government in 2005 states that, in general, the Teacher Training Centres will organise the training activities aimed at improving teaching practice in the classroom.

Likewise, the Official Language Schools will run specific courses for teachers who wish to raise their language skills in order to give their classes in a foreign language.

Nevertheless, the Teacher Training Centres will also have to propose improvements in the language skills of teachers in schools which have difficulty in accessing the courses of the Official Language Schools. As this is the case in our area, this course is designed to practice both reading skills (with techniques that could be applied to standard teaching irrespective of the language) and use of English.

As this is intended for teachers with a knowledge of English not below A2, it is strongly recommended that those in doubt use Dialang to test their level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Otherwise, there is another course -code 132321GE07- that might be of interest.

Inscripción hasta el 23 de noviembre de 2012.
